Delivery Information

Delivery for Sympathy Orders

To ensure that orders are processed as smoothly as possible, please supply us with the following information during the checkout process in the comments section:

  • Full name of the deceased
  • Name and address of the funeral home and name and phone number of a relative
  • Date and time of the funeral

Delivery to Hospitals/Nursing Homes

To ensure proper delivery to hospitals or nursing homes, we kindly ask that you please supply us with the following details during the checkout process in the comments section:

  • Recipient's full name
  • Ward name or number
  • Hospital name and address
  • Whether recipient is a patient, resident or staff

For convenience  to recipients, we recommend carefully choosing flowers and gifts limited to our range of:

  • Flowers in vessels
  • Small to medium sized arrangements
  • Flowers only as most hospitals do not allow plants
  • Gifts only for intensive care or other special care units 

For Gift Packs

In the event of any items picture being unavailable, we will aim to substitute the item with other goods similar in style of equivalent or greater value. Where there are two prices listed, the flower and gourmet hampers will represent the base or starting value. 


Delivery on Public Holidays

Please keep in mind Botanics are unable to guarantee deliveries on Public Holidays. However if you are unsure, we recommend contact us directly on 03 9866 1282 to check if delivery can be made.

Mother’s Day Deliveries

We guarantee all Mother’s Day deliveries for orders placed before 8:00PM (AEST) Sunday 12th May 2019.


Valentines Day Deliveries

In order to guarantee delivery for Valentine’s Day orders, we require orders to be placed no later than 8:00PM (AEST) 13 February.


Substitutions

Due to the large number of orders received on Mother’s Day & Valentines Day, Botanics reserves the right to make substitutions where ultimately necessary to ensure that your delivery arrives on time. All substitutions will be made with similar products to the same or greater value of the original.


Order Alterations

We accept order alternations up until the moment the order has left the shop. Additional fees however, may apply.

These alterations can include delivery addresses, changes to card messages, changes to the original requested product and changes to the recipient’s name.


Order Cancellations

For cancellations occurring at least 24 hours delivery date and time, Botanics can refund the total amount. However cancellations placed after this period can only receive a partial refund or credit as the flowers have already been constructed, cut and designed.


Delivery Policy when the recipient is not at home to accept your gift

If the recipient is not at home to receive your gift, we will execute our discretion to determine if it is safe to be left at the front door or somewhere locatable. In the event we are unable to leave the gift in a safe location the items will be returned to the shop where we will get in touch with either the recipient or yourself to organise re-delivery dates and times. Re-deliveries will incur extra charges.

To ensure safe delivery of any gifts, we recommend including the recipient's phone number of the comments section of the checkout process so we may get in touch in the event they are unavailable.

 

 

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cut off time for same-day deliveries?

Same day delivery within Melbourne occurs from Monday to Sunday provided the order is received before 12.00pm AEST.

Is there anywhere Botanics doesn’t deliver?

Botanics can deliver in most places in Victoria. For an idea of places we deliver, please enter in your postcode at the checkout after adding items to get an estimate on delivery costs. Areas which are remote or restricted may not be accessible to us and should you require more information on delivery outside of Victoria, please contact us directly on 03 9866 1282.


How will I know if you’ve received my order?

Once your order has been placed you will receive an confirmation email with a tax invoice attached.


What happens if I want to make changes to my order?

Please note that Botanics endeavours to make every effort possible to ensure delivery occurs on time. Therefore should you need to make any changes to your order, we kindly request you contact us directly on 03 9866 1282 as soon as possible to notify us. For quick and ease of response, please make sure you have your order number on hand.


Are you able to notify me of delivery?

Although we'd love to, it would be nearly impossible to call and/or email all of our clients on a day-to-day basis with a delivery confirmation.

To best ensure that deliveries are made, we recommend choosing either an AM or PM delivery time bracket so that we can make every effort to make sure deliveries are received. If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
